The world is for thousands a freak show; the images flicker past and vanish; the impressions remain flat and unconnected in the soul. Thus they are easily led by the opinions of others, are content to let their impressions be shuffled and rearranged and evaluated differently.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Welcome to your creative space for today – just over there in front of the flipchart and next to the spot where we’ve stored all of our empty boxes. People will be popping in and out all day and as you’re the only person here they’ll be asking you lots of questions you don’t know the answer to but you’ll have to stop and try and help them. The room will either be red hot or freezing cold but never a happy medium and you’re miles from the main conference room so you’ll have to keep dropping everything and trekking up there. Now if you could just knock us up a video to close the conference with tomorrow that’d be just dandy!
That awkward moment when you look down in the restaurant and realize you’re still wearing your lanyard round your neck!
In the attics of my life, full of cloudy dreams unreal
Full of tastes no tongue can know, and lights no eyes can see
When there was no ear to hear, you sang to me
I have spent my life seeking all that’s still unsung
Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see
When there was no strings to play, you played to me
